People have been contacting us wondering about the nutritional facts of our products. Legally we are not required to include that on our labels unless we sell a whole lot more than we do currently. But I am happy to include the information on this site.
All our milk products are pasteurized in small batches in our vat pasteurizer. We heat the milk to the lowest temperature as specified by the USDA in order to kill any pathogens that might be in the milk, but to presere as much as possible any beneficial components.
Fat content may vary from season to season depending on the diet of the goats. It averages around 4% in our milk or yogurt.
